Check the EMV kernel and other versions on the payment device

Currently, Sunmi has two versions of the EMV kernel: EMV 001 and EMV 100. EMV 100 is the latest one

To check the device’s firmware version, please go to ‘Settings’ → About Device

To check the EMV version, normally if the Firmware version can be provided, Sunmi can tell the default EMV module version. However, EMV module can be upgraded separately.

Sunmi provides an SDK API to read all the system parameters which contain the EMV version. Also, there’s an SDKTestDemo app that can be used to do all kinds of operations which include reading the EMV version.
