How to Remote to Sunmi Device through Remote Assistance
Sunmi provides a remote control feature to all Sunmi devices. Users can remotely access their devices through the MDM through the browser, which can help to do the diagnostic or customer assistance.
Instructions
1, Log on to your MDM account.
If you don’t have an MDM account yet, please go to: https://partner.sunmi.com to apply for one.
2, Ensure the device(s) are available and assigned under your MDM account.
You can send the email to ‘support@sunmi.tech’ and request to add your SN list to your account.
3, Go to Remote Management through: ALL-> VAS->Remote Assistance->Remote Management
4, Check the available accessing features for remote management from the device’s context menu.
The above device is online, the ‘Device Information’ is available to retrieve. other functions are available.
But the ‘Remote Control’ is not available yet. If you’re facing the same situation, please go to next step.
5, Launch the app ‘Remote Assistance’ on your device.
If you can not find this app on your device, it can be downloaded through the ‘AppStore’, which is a default app on Sunmi device
6, Open the Remote Assistance app on your device.
The ‘Unattend’ switch here means, if it’s enabled, the next time when you launch remote access from the MDM, there’ll be no confirmation needed on the device side.
7, Refresh the list on the page, and the ‘Remote Control’ will be available.
8, Click the Remote Control .
On the divide side, if the ‘unattend’ is not enabled, a popup dialog will ask the operator’s permission to accept the remote control.
Once it’s ‘Agreed’, from the MDM side, you can do remote control, just like operating it with your fingers, but this time you can do it through the mouse and keyboard.
Remote Contorl is not a free feature offered, you can use it 30 minutes each month. Or you can buy the minutes from: https://partner.sunmi.com/remote/purchase based on different plans which might work best on your needs.
